Assuming we have had some snow by then, we can snowshoe down on the river. If not, we can walk along the road. This will be at your own pace and is your chance to stretch you legs AND your creativity. Bring warm clothes, water, snacks and hiking tracker.

About the Event
Directions from the main intersection in Durango near the Doubletree:
1) Head west on US-160 W
go ~ 10 miles
2) Turn right onto Co Rd 124 (just after Hesperus Post Office)
go roughly five miles to the winter gate; park there; meet at the gate
It's about 30 minutes from downtown
